WELCOME TO TOMAS GUITAR STUDIO!
I run a comprehensive honors-level guitar program for young people that is rooted in the Suzuki Method but incorporates music from Spain, Latin America and Africa as well as Rhythm & Blues and Jazz. A key element of the program is parental involvement and commitment: parents learn and practice alongside the child, functioning as home teachers and create an optimal home environment that encourages the young student.
The performance-based curriculum consists of private lessons, bi-weekly ensemble classes, ear training and public and private shows. Admission to the studio is by application and personal interview. Learn more about the admission process and the program here.
